Baobab Planes

The "baobab" plane tree is a cultivar of the London plane believed to be suffering from a viral infection. It has a curious appearance with its huge swollen, knobbly trunk.The seemingly planned planting of a large number of these trees in the nineteenth century has intrigued experts, locals, and tree lovers alike.
